Product Shots w/ @frickspicks

Kim (@frickspicks) works with a lot of brands (she has more than 21,000 followers), so she is focused on keeping her unique sense of style and Instagram vibe while blending products into her every day life. I feel like she does this so flawlessly! Her styling is so chic and attainable too, and you can just feel her kind, bubbly personality shine through every photo. On this day, we shot content sponsored by Favor/HEB, NK imode, and Andiamo Luggage.

Tip: If you are shooting multiple looks like this, I would definitely suggest blocking off a solid two hours (at least and depending on location). Make sure your hair is photo ready and you have all of your outfits lined up. Kim was easily able to transition between looks, but it can also help to have a stylist.

I used my Sigma 85mm heavily this day. I had just purchased it and wanted to take it out for a spin. I highly recommend it! Beautiful, creamy shots.

Fall Style w/ @frickspicks

SO lucky to have clients that are so sweet, kind, beautiful, and amazing! Kim, of @firckspicks and therealgoldengirl.com, is all about ageless style, outfit inspo, classic style with a twist, and embracing your age. She has definitely hit on something because she has more than 20,000 Instagram followers!

This is the second time I have worked with Kim, and it was even better than the first time. When you shoot with people more than once, you really start to get a feel for the type of shots they like, the style they are going for, and generally the conversation gets better because you are both more at ease with one another (also called becoming friends!).

Kim wanted to shoot some fall trends, so we decided to meet at the Quarry in San Antonio where Trader Joe’s had their pumpkin display out. Two of Kim’s pants were sponsored by Dress Barn, so we needed some nice clean shots. Then the next day Kim was hosting an event for Kendra Scott, so we hopped over to take some photos in front of the Kendra Scott storefront.

Kim’s obviously inspiring and stylish! While we were shooting, a follower even came up to her and told her how wonderful she is (it’s true)! Looking forward to seeing her do all the big things.

Jonquil @ San Antonio Botanical Gardens

First of all, Jonquil (or @luxeandlabeless as you might know her from her Luxe & Labeless blog and IG account) is literally the sweetest person ever. She is a kitty mama, can make a $7 top look like it cost $200, and is the easiest person to talk to.

We were supposed to shoot in King Williams last weekend, but the weather lately has rain-prone and random. We were just about to postpone our shoot, but Jonquil pitched the last minute idea to shoot at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. The sun came out for a bit and the photos turned out super lovely.
